Every person born in the USA is, in my opinion, very blessed. We have so many freedoms that many other nations can only dream of. With the recent “Hobby Lobby” uproar it seems that our nation’s courts are forgetting that religious freedoms are personal and that no one’s employer should be able to force their beliefs on them.

There are many businesses all over the United States that are owned by people of varying religions, I’ve worked for Jewish people, Muslim people and Buddhists, none of my previous employers felt the need to impose their beliefs on me.

Why is it always women’s health that takes the hit? Women should have their own say over their bodies no matter what their religion and no employer should have the right to deny them access to any benefits. If birth control is covered under Obamacare, it should be covered, no exceptions. What is the point of having a National Healthcare system if the Supreme court can act like a bunch of stupid old folgies and let one closed minded company get out of it?

The question is, do you really want the government in control of your life? Do you think the people in power are really making decisions that will benefit you as a citizen, or are they perhaps making decisions that will get them re elected or put more money in their own pockets?

If you are curious as to how bad it could be I suggest that you read the novel “One World United” by Kingsmuir Press author Jean Marie Stanberry. It is a post apocalyptic tale of our world in the distant future. After the massive devastation of World War III, a centralized government is formed. This government takes full control of the lives of it’s citizens deciding their careers, who they will marry, even how many children they will have.

If you think something like that could never happen, think about the terrible things that have happened in our past like Hitler’s barely foiled takeover of the entire world. When people are weakened by war, hunger and fatigue they become much easier to manipulate. I know so many people are tired of the violence in this country and they are ready for everyone to give up their guns and live in a socialized world of rainbows and unicorns. Don’t do it! Yes there are crazies out there, but what you really have to fear is some religious zealot bent on taking over the world that can actually find brain dead morons to follow him.
